Remembering the Fallen is a line of effort that is truly instilled in all veterans and families. If you have never been to the Iowa Veterans Cemetery in Van Meter or Arlington National, or taken part in the Iowa Remembers Remembrance Run, we highly encourage you to explore our sincerely humbling history of service in Iowa. Freedom is not free; it is the soldier, sailor, airman, and marine who fight our nation’s wars. They have volunteered to protect this great country at all costs, and for some, that burden is heavy. Iowa has paid a substantial price in its history of service; we honor these fallen comrades by paying forward their strength and bravery. 

We also assist White Star families who suffered the loss of a soldier suicide with resources to attend burial services and to work closely with survivor outreach programs to help build the futures of the survivors.
